Since July 11th, 2004 I have had quite a few chances to meet Michael and the boys.
From the time we met in Modena (July 25th, 2004) where we spent a considerable amount of time together (the very first encounter was in Lucca, on July 11th) I didn't think of writing a detailed memo of our meeting, because I was kinda taken by surprise. I would have never thought that internationally famous musicians could be so down-to-earth, humble, kind and absolutely friendly. Maybe sooner or later I will put pen to paper and write down about that night in Hotel, talking about music, sharing a couple beers, laughing and having a good time with a bunch of friends. Unfortunately time's passed, and I'm afraid that a lot of details would be lost in my memory.
Since then, tho, I took in the habit of writing down feelings and events, because I know that human mind tends, in time, to dull the hues of facts the minute they become memories.
This is the simple chronicle of the birth - and let's hope consolidation too - of a friendship. Since they've all been written on the spur of the moment I'm afraid they're all in italian. But just like the blog, I will try and translate everything in english, with time, given that any non-italian user cares to read about them.
